What Is Stress Management?

Stress is an inbuilt physical reaction to perceived danger — real or not. The degree of our stress is dependent on our lifestyle, the environment, and our take on what is happening, our thoughts about it. Stress management is management of lifestyle elements, thoughts, emotions, and rebalancing of our bodily reactions.

Besides stressful circumstances in your life, your thoughts and emotions definitely can add oil to the fire. Being fearful, panicky, angry, hateful, or worrisome will increase your stress level.

The ability to influence what we think, feel, and sense in our body is a skill we can develop. You can learn it! Every step made in that process makes you feel better immediately. You can sense the progress daily on your way to HEALTH, JOY and VITALITY!

If you're stressed out a lot and want to avoid long-term negative consequences, start now!

You can support your body and mind in ways that are complementary to any medical approaches you are already using.
Uplifting
It won't take long to start experiencing more energy and less pain. Often it happens after your first session. You then know where to start and you regain hope and can feel joyful again.

I offer individual and small group sessions to help you understand, manage, and release your stress. In over 30 years of work with stress prevention, stress reduction, and healing interventions for stress related dysfunctions, I can affirm that 80 to 90 percent of our physical troubles are stress related.

I’ll help you to release stress and tension and to manage any related dysfunctions you might be experiencing. If you are already dealing with a disease, I can support you in your recovery.

I work primarily with Eden Energy Medicine, adding other modalities like Energy Psychology, mindfulness practices, breath work, Autogenic Training, as well as Somatic Experiencing for traumatic stress. See the modalities page for more information on these and other techniques.
